If you’re you not sure what this “top 10 blogs” thing is all about; every week I have been posting a quick blog review for one of the top 10 market research blogs of 2011 to show where that blog placed in the top 10 and why. If you don’t agree with my choices then please comment!

Have you not been reading my top market research blog stories from the beginning? Please take a look at the articles when I first revealed the top 25 blogs, “The 25 contenders for the top 10 places“, and also when I revealed the top 10 blogs, “The 10 Finalists“.

NOTE: From my first list of top 10 market research blogs, I have ranked the blogs in order from 1 to 10 based only on my subjective analysis of their market research related content.

In 4th place for top market research blogs of 2011 is the QuestionPro Blog!

What is this market research blog about?

The last two blogs that I reviewed are managed by research companies and the articles are written by their employees … and this blog is no different.

QuestionPro was founded by two software consultants who believe software should make our lives easier. After years in the consulting business, we’ve experienced the “dark side” of overly complex software. QuestionPro is our take on what software should be, web-based and easy to use. We evolve our business by understanding user requirements and delivering solutions that make your job easier.” –

The QuestionPro Blog itself covers topics that relate to the use of QuestionPro products, but it always provides tons of added insight for those people who don’t use their products. New market research articles are posted throughout the week on this blog and they always include a large depth of knowledge for readers to walk away with or a webinar to sign up for.

The QuestionPro blog is also associated with three other blogs that are owned by partnered companies:

What makes this blog good and what makes it bad?

I have to start off by mentioning something that is indirectly about this blog; if you haven’t read about the amazing things this group of “partners” has done then you definitely need to start reading their mass of media releases from the past 24 months. They are creating groundbreaking products and services that will change our market research industry forever. Do a quick Google or blog search for news about any of the following: Survey Analytics, QuestionPro, IdeaScale, SurveyPocket, SurveySwipe, MicroPanel, micropoll, BadgeFarm, TubePulse, and researchaccess.

The QuestionPro blog itself has been in existence longer than most market research blogs, coming in at almost 5 years now. Over that time, the blog has been providing all kinds of training and insights for market researchers with varying levels of experience. If you’re looking for a market research “how-to guide” then this blog is the first place I would recommend going to because of it’s rich content and ongoing FREE webinars.

My blog review alone simply can’t give the QuestionPro blog the justice it deserves, so please visit their blog and follow their content. If you want to know what some of the most innovative market researchers are doing then I highly suggest staying on top of what these “partners” are up to.

I don’t want to forget to mention that QuestionPro actively promotes their content and stays engaged with the market research community on Twitter, so follow them! (@questionpro)
